INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) detectives are investigating a shooting that has critically injured one man.
Officers were dispatched to the 3200 blk. of Gladstone Av., just after 8:00 p.m. reference a person shot. When officers arrived they found an unidentified male suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the torso. The victim was transported Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition. Detective have identified the victim as 18-year-old Tyren Whitley of Indianapolis.
Detectives are canvassing the area for additional information. Detectives have not yet released any reliable suspect information.
