I-65 northbound will have 20 minute closures Monday night north of Lebanon

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces there will be two 20 minute closures on I-65 northbound beginning after 10 p.m. Monday, April 5 and completed by 2 a.m. Tuesday, April 6. This is for the contractor to remove an overhead box truss near the 140 mile marker just north of Lebanon.

E&B Paving LLC was selected in October 2020 to complete the work with a bid of $83.7 million to add one lane in each direction on I-65 from north of S.R. 32 to S.R. 47. Construction is expected to continue until late 2021, weather dependent. The speed limit through the project area is reduced to 55 mph during the day and 45 mph overnight. Work is expected to resume in March 2022 and be complete by November 2022.

INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
