I-65 northbound will be down to one 11’ lane overnight early next week just north of State Road 28

CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces one lane on
I-65 northbound will be closed both Monday, November 18 and Tuesday, November 19 from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning just north of State Road 28 (Exit 158). The contractor will be patching the deck of the Bridge over the abandoned railroad. Traffic will be restricted to one 11’ lane during these time-frames.

Superior Construction Co., Inc. was awarded the $8 million contract.  The project on I-65 includes overlaying the decks on the Lauramie Creek Bridges next year. It also includes the bridge removal over the abandoned railroad tracks located just three tenths of one mile north of S.R. 28. The contractor completed the deck overlays on the bridges over Little Potato Creek this year. This project is scheduled for completion in August of 2021.
