Homicide detectives make an arrest for murder that occurred in January

INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Homicide detectives have arrested  Denise Gibson (63) for her alleged involvement in the murder of William Sullivan (67), that occurred on 01/07/2018.

Just after 8:00 a.m., on January 7, 2018, officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) were dispatched to the 3000 block of North California Street reference a unresponsive subject. Officers arrived shortly after receiving the dispatched run and located a male inside a residence, who appeared to have an open wound to his chest.

Officers secured the residence, and notified medics for assistance. Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services (IEMS) arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.  Homicide detectives were called and observed what appeared to be trauma to the chest of the victim.
