PITTSBORO – On 10/10/2025, at approximately 4:34 am, Hendricks County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a single vehicle, single occupant fatal crash near the intersection of CR 100 East and CR 700 North.
The preliminary investigation details a silver Chevrolet Cruz, was traveling north on CR 100 East. For unknown reasons, the vehicle drove slightly off the roadway right, overcorrected, and struck a utility pole.
When emergency crews arrived on-scene, the driver of the vehicle, Jayson Wodtke, of Avon, was found to be deceased. At this time, investigating deputies do not believe intoxication played a role in this crash.
