Hendricks County Health Partnership Releases New Online Resource Guide

HENDRICKS COUNTY – “Maybe, you’re a single mom looking for childcare services. Maybe, you’re a hard worker looking for assistance landing a new job. Maybe, you’re a family seeking a new doctor. No matter who you are or what you are looking for, this is the guide for you,” says Chase Cotten, Coordinator of the Hendricks County Health Partnership.

The new guide, which can be found at https://www.hendrickshealthpartnership.org/resources, includes general descriptions, locations, website links, and contact information for numerous agencies and organizations that provide a wide variety of services in the greater Hendricks County area. It is designed to be easy-to-use, whether you are accessing it from your computer at work, or from your mobile device on the go.

“Whether you have a need, your friend has a need, or a family member has a need, this guide is a true one-stop-shop for finding and connecting with the right organization in Hendricks County,” comments Jenny Bates, Director of Wellness and Population Health at Hendricks Regional Health (HRH). “Here at HRH, we plan on encouraging our staff members to use the resource guide as a community referral list for patients or clients that are looking for additional services in the County, whether they need information about available mental health providers or even a list of every local food pantry providing free groceries – the connections are endless with this fantastic tool.”

On the main page of the resource guide, you will find a list, organized from A-Z, of more than 45 different topics. Click on the topic that best describes the resources you are looking for, and you will immediately have access to every agency or organization in or near Hendricks County that provides those resources.

“Basically, our goal is for any citizen of Hendricks County to be able to find what they need in less than two ‘clicks’,” states Cotten. “It should not be hard to find what you need for yourself or for your family. This guide makes it all easier.”

Since the guide is online, it can quickly and easily be updated on the back end by the Hendricks County Health Partnership. If you have any suggested edits, additions, or deletions, simply email or call Chase Cotten at: hendrickshealthpartnership@gmail.com OR 317-745-9618.
