Governor Eric Holcomb Directs Flags to Be Flown at Half-Staff in Jennings County

INDIANAPOLIS – Governor Eric J. Holcomb is directing flags at state facilities in Jennings County be flown at half-staff to honor Lance Cpl. Jacky Ray Koenig Jr. who recently passed away during training while stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on the day of his funeral, Tuesday, April 25.

 

Governor Holcomb also asks businesses and residents in Jennings County to lower their flags to half-staff to honor Lance Cpl. Koenig’s courageous service and devotion to duty.
