INDIANAPOLIS—Governor Eric J. Holcomb today announced new appointments and reappointments to various state boards and commissions.
Code Revision Commission
The governor made one new appointment to the Indiana Code Revision Commission:
- Allison Karns (Carmel), legislative director for Governor Holcomb, will join the commission. Her term expires August 31, 2019.
Indiana War Memorials Commission
The governor made one reappointment to the Indiana War Memorials Commission:
- Michael Davisson (Salem), sergeant first class in the United States Army, will continue his service on the commission. His new term expires September 30, 2020.
Interstate Oil & Gas Compact Commission
The governor made one new appointment to the Interstate Oil & Gas Compact Commission:
- Russell L. Retherford (Evansville), director of the division of oil and gas for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, will join the commission. He serves at the pleasure of the Governor.
Little Calumet River Basin Development Commission
The governor made one new appointment to the Little Calumet River Basin Development Commission:
- Derek A. Nimetz (Valparaiso), ecologist with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, will join the commission. His term expires August 31, 2021.
Port of Indiana Commission
The governor made two new appointments to the Port of Indiana Commission:
- Michael G. Browning (Indianapolis), chairman of the board of Browning Investments LLC, will join the commission. His term expires September 30, 2021.
- Monica Newhouse-Rodriguez (Carmel), managing principal of Newhouse and Associates LLC, will join the commission. Her term expires September 30, 2021.
Parole Board
The governor made one reappointment to the Parole Board:
- Thor Miller (Indianapolis) will continue his service on the board. His new term expires September 30, 2021.
The governor also made one new appointment to the Parole Board:
- Jim Shaffer (Indianapolis), president and CEO of ELEVATE Indianapolis, will join the board. His term expires September 30, 2021.
