Avon, IN- Duke Energy Indiana has chosen Jacob Morris of Plainfield High School for the company’s 2016 Technical Trade Scholarship.
Duke Energy Indiana Government and Community Relations Manager Steve Bahr presented the scholarship to Morris at the Hendricks County Community Foundation (HCCF) offices. HCCF holds and administrates the scholarship fund.

The company established the scholarship in 2001 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of its presence in Plainfield. “Duke Energy Indiana has always supported the community as a good corporate citizen. The scholarship is just one in a long line of contributions to Hendricks County,” said HCCF Executive Director William A. Rhodehamel.
