Putnam County—This morning at 8:55, Indiana State Police Troopers and Putnam County emergency agencies responded to a commercial vehicle roll over crash on US 231 just north of US 40 near Tall Lakes Road. The crash resulted in injuries to the driver.
Preliminary investigated revealed a 2008 Kenworth tri-axle dump truck, driven by 54-year-old James Manuel of Terre Haute, IN., was northbound on US 231, drifted off the right side of the roadway, struck a few trees, ultimately rolling over and coming to rest on the vehicle’s right side in the roadway.
