Washington, D.C. — Today, U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly released an educational video series called “Indiana in Our Nation’s Capital.” The six-part video series highlights Hoosier contributions that can be found throughout our nation’s capital.
Donnelly said, “As Hoosiers, we know that Indiana has a proud tradition of contributing to the many great achievements of our country. In this video series you will find examples of good old-fashioned Hoosier hard work in Washington’s many museums, paintings of famous Hoosiers that decorate the halls of the U.S. Capitol Building, and elected leaders from Indiana who have served as President, Vice-President, Speaker of the House, and on the Supreme Court.”
Whether it’s to plan a visit to Washington D.C. or to learn more about the Hoosier state’s presence in our nation’s capital, this video series chronicles the people, places, and things that represent Indiana found throughout the many government buildings, memorials, and museums in D.C.
