Donnelly Greets Hoosier Veterans on First All-Female Honor Flight at World War II Memorial

Washington, D.C.  U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly greeted and thanked the first ever all-female Honor Flight for their service at the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.  More than 140 female World War II veterans from Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio made the trip to Washington as part of the Tri-State Honor Flight Network.

The Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created to honor America’s military heroes by sponsoring veterans’ trips to Washington, D.C., where they can visit and reflect at their memorials.
