Don Schumacher Motorsports Expanding Its State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Facility in Brownsburg

Don Schumacher Motorsports (DSM), the manufacturing division of top racing team Don Schumacher Racing, has announced plans to expand its Brownsburg, Indiana, operational facility and overall campus.

In its current building, located at 1681 E. Northfield Dr., DSM will invest over $7 million to add new manufacturing equipment and create up to 12 new jobs by the end of 2025.

In addition, DSM will invest over $3.5 million to build a new 32,500 sq. ft. facility at the same location. This new building will expand production capacity and create 30 new jobs.

“We first moved our headquarters to Brownsburg in 2004 and have experienced steady growth since then,” said DSM President Chad Osier. “We’re now excited for this next phase as we continue to expand our motorsports, aerospace and defense manufacturing infrastructure. Brownsburg has proven to be a great location for us, with access to top talent and proximity to our customers. The Town of Brownsburg has always been incredibly supportive of our endeavors, and we’ve enjoyed getting to know the community through various events, such as our annual Open House benefitting Riley Kids each Labor Day weekend.”

DSM expects to break ground on its new facility in May and to be fully operational by October.

“The investment Don Schumacher Motorsports is making demonstrates that Brownsburg is a unique environment where auto racing and manufacturing can coexist,” said Brownsburg Town Council President Travis Tschaenn. “This expansion aligns perfectly with our vision for Brownsburg as a premier destination for the motorsports industry.”
