Ditch Road Bridge lanes to close for 3 days next week

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Transportation will close all lanes of the Ditch Road bridge over I-465 for three days next week. 

The bridge lanes will be closed during daytime hours, Wednesday, April 29 through Friday, May 1. 

Lanes will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each of those days.

Crews will be milling the intermediate asphalt that is in place and replacing it with brand new, permanent asphalt. 

They will also be working on the sidewalks on the bridge. 

Detour

While the lanes are closed, the suggested detour route is 86th Street to Springmill Road to 96th Street.
