INDIANAPOLIS – Homicide detectives are investigating the killing a 34-year-old man in the 3800 block of Pleasant Run Parkway North Drive Monday morning.
Earlier this morning around 4:30 a.m., officers were sent to the 3800 blk. of Pleasant Run Parkway North Drive reference a person shot. When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive male, later identified as 34-year-old Antoan Johnson of Indianapolis, lying next to a vehicle suffering from at least one gunshot wound. EMS personnel arrived and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.
Detectives canvassed the area for information, and the Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency processed the crime scene for forensic evidence. The Marion County Coroner’s Office confirmed the victim’s identity. Detectives have developed some positive leads but have not yet made any suspect information publicly available. As detectives make additional developments available, additional information may be released.
