Danville, IN – The Danville-Center Township Public Library is thrilled to announce an extraordinary literary event featuring Julia Whelan, the award-winning audiobook narrator, author, actress, and entrepreneur. Dubbed “the Adele of audiobooks” by The New Yorker, Whelan has narrated over 600 titles, captivating listeners with her storytelling ability. She is also the author of three novels, My Oxford Year, Thank You For Listening, and Casanova LLC (penned by fictitious writer June French and Whelan). Netflix has just wrapped production on the film adaptation of My Oxford Year, starring Sofia Carson and Corey Mylchreest. While the release date has yet to be announced, fans are eagerly awaiting the premiere.
This special event will take place on Saturday, April 26, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Tri-West High School auditorium. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to experience Julia Whelan’s talent firsthand during a live reading, a Q&A session, and book signing.
