County Road 1000 S. to close in Hendricks County in connection with a local project

HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a bridge closure that will impact County Road 1000 S. in Hendricks County in connection with a local project.

Beginning on or after Monday, April 13, crews will close the C.R. 1000 S. bridge over Branch McCracken Creek, located just south of I-70, between State Road 39 and Hammer Road. The purpose of the closure is for a complete bridge replacement. Construction is anticipated to last until September but is weather-dependent and subject to change.

The official detour around the closure follows S.R. 39 to Keller Hill Road to Gasburg Road, and back to C.R. 1000 S. INDOT encourages drivers to seek an alternate route and use caution in the area.
