Christmas Gift & Hobby Show tickets now available at Marsh

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Central Indiana’s largest holiday shopping extravaganza – the 66th annual Christmas Gift & Hobby Show – will offer tickets at a discounted rate starting Monday, Oct. 19 at Marsh Supermarkets’ stores.

Advance tickets are available for just $9 each throughout central Indiana – a $3 savings from general admission – for the event held Nov. 11-15 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds West Pavilion.

“Our show’s designed to be affordable, convenient and fun for the entire family!” said Donell Heberer Walton, HSI Show Productions executive director. “Plus it’s never too early to spread holiday cheer – we actually reward those who show up in the spirit of Christmas – whether that’s dressing up as a group or even caroling, we have $10,000 in cash and prizes to give away during all five days!”

Walton says that besides shopping, there’s plenty to see and do – test out some toys, watch demonstrations, sample food and wine, or even visit with animals like real live reindeer. The one-stop Christmas shop will fill the 180,000-square-foot space with over 350 exhibitors, ongoing entertainment and concerts, daily photo opportunities with Santa (and reindeer), book signings with local authors, adoptable pets and deep discounts with select exhibitors.

This year’s highlights include daily performances by Happily Ever After Productions fairytale princesses on the theater stage, twice as many exhibitor discounts (which can be previewed on the show’s website) and an emphasis on handcrafted gifts from Hoosier-based vendors, which makes up one-third of all exhibitors in attendance.

Handmade gifts include, but are not limited to: clothing and accessories, photography, puzzles, jewelry, crafts and pottery, quilts, metal sculptures and stained glass décor, fragrances, a wide array of food, home furnishings like bourbon barrel furniture and much more.

Full-price tickets are $12 at the door, but guests can download a $3 off coupon on ChristmasGiftandHobbyShow.com. Children 12 and under are free, and seniors age 65+ (with ID) are admitted for $8 on Wednesday, Nov. 11 and Thursday, Nov. 12. Military veterans and active duty are admitted for free on Wednesday, Nov. 11 in honor of Veterans Day. Discount offers cannot be combined.
