Brownsburg Town Council Begins Search for New Town Manager

Brownsburg — Brownsburg Town Council launched its search to fill the Town Manager vacancy today. Advertisements seeking qualified candidates are being placed in targeted Indiana and Midwest region publications and websites.
 
Town Council hires the Town Manager to administrate the daily affairs and operations of the municipality. The Town Manager is responsible for carrying out the Town Council’s policy directives within the capability of the Town’s resources. 
 
The council is seeking candidates with successful management experience or a highly successful record of accomplishment in either the private sector or as a governmental agency administrator. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with corporate or municipal budgets, utility planning and development, growth and change management, redevelopment and economic development, and community and intergovernmental relations.
 
Applications will be received through 3 pm on November 30. The Town’s hiring review committee expects to begin the interview process with selected applicants in December. Town Council anticipates a selection will be made by the end of January.
