BROWNSBURG – Brownsburg Town Council has appointed Jeffery A. Eder as Town Manager. Eder joins the administration in his new role today. As Town Manager, Eder will serve as the the municipality’s Chief Executive Officer and lead the staff in carrying out the directives of Town Council. He will be responsible for directing the day-to-day operations and for economic development.
Eder has 18 years experience in municipal management. Most recently, Eder served as the City Administrator for the City of East Peoria, Illinois. Previous roles include four years as the Assistant City Manager and Community and Economic Development Director for the City of Rock Island and 12 years with the Village of Franklin Park ending as the Director of Community Development.
Eder holds a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental design, urban planning and development from Ball State University. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana University Kokomo. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute.
Eder and his wife, Johanna, have three sons.
