After winning the state competition in the summer of 2016, BCSC bus drivers Shari Fulner and Anna Webb represented Brownsburg and the School Transportation Association of Indiana (STAI) at the National Special Needs Bus Rodeo in Dallas March 18th. These transportation professionals do an outstanding job transporting students safely every day and also put in countless hours studying and preparing for the competition. Out of the 20 teams who qualified from across the country, Shari and Anna finished 4th in the nation, and were just 10 points out of first place. Both drivers feel like the experience will help them continue to improve. “Our time spent preparing really did pay off and we learned some valuable things at the training,” said Shari Fulner. Anna Webb agreed, “The depth of knowledge available to us in Texas was invaluable. It was an amazing experience that we plan to share with our Transportation Department.”
