Bridge Project will close State Road 75 south of US 36 April 1st

HENDRICKS, MONTGOMERY AND PUTNAM COUNTIES, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a bridge deck overlay project on State Road 75 approximately 3 miles south of U.S. 36 will close the roadway on the Bridge over CSX Railroad, beginning on or after Monday, April 1. The closure is scheduled to last through July, 22 of this year.

The detour follows U.S. 40 to State Road 39 to U.S. 36 and back.

Force Construction Co., Inc. was awarded the $2.8 million contract. This project also includes bridge replacements on State Road 234 over Lost Creek, just over one mile west of U.S. 231, and over Jones & Armstrong Ditch located 1.25 miles west of U.S. 231.  This project also replaced the bridge on U.S. 36 over Plum Creek.

These projects are scheduled for completion in October of 2019.
