Avon Man Injured in I-70 Rollover Crash in Putnam County

Putnam County—Saturday evening at 5:56, Indiana State Police and Putnam County emergency agencies responded to a pickup truck pulling a camper rollover crash in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 near the 30 mile marker.

Preliminary investigation revealed a white 2017 Dodge pickup pulling a camper and driven by 61-year-old Dennis White of Avon, Indiana, was westbound on I-70 near the 30mm, lost control, and traveled into the median, ultimately overturning.  

White was transported to Terre Haute Regional Hospital for treatment of what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries. 

The crash was investigated by ISP Trooper David Cox Jr. Assisting were ISP Troopers Brad Fyfe, Colton Maynor, Courtland Woodruff, and First Sergeant Tom Hannon, Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, Reelsville Fire/Rescue, Cloverdale Fire/Rescue, Putnam County Operation Life, and Curtis Towing.
