Avon High School to hold in-person commencement on July 10th at Avon High School

Avon, IN—(May 16, 2020) The Avon Community School Corporation has announced that the Avon High School 2020 Commencement will be held in a traditional format on Friday, July 10, 2020, at 8 p.m. at AHS’s Andy Mohr Athletic Complex/Hendricks Regional Health Stadium. The graduation will be live streamed. Seating will be limited in compliance with social distancing guidelines. More information will be shared prior to the ceremony. 

If a student is unable to participate in the July ceremony, they can schedule an appointment for a private ceremony that will occur during the week of June 8th. Directions on how to reserve a date and time will be forthcoming.

Please be reminded that these plans are tentative and subject to change based on guidelines from our health and government officials to ensure everyone’s health and safety. We will keep you updated as the date nears.

We appreciate the patience of our families during a time where multiple shifts have taken place in our lives. The AHS staff is very proud of the perseverance and tenacity of the Class of 2020!
