BOONE COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a patch and resurfacing project will begin on U.S. 421 or after Thursday, May 28, weather permitting. This project will patch and resurface the roadway from just north of State Road 32 to just south of State Road 47. The contractor will be flagging motorists around the area they will be working.

Rieth-Riley Construction Co. was awarded the $1.7 million contract.  This is scheduled to be completed in late August.  INDOT encourages drivers to slow down, exercise caution and drive distraction-free through this and all work zones.
