Washington, DC–Congressman Todd Rokita fights to protect our right to bear arms through concealed carry reciprocity. Rokita’s statement is below.
“For too long, Washington elites have tried to take away our lawful right to gun ownership. H.R. 38, the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act will ensure that the rights of all law-abiding Hoosiers to bear arms will be respected no matter which state they visit. Today’s bill helps protect our Second Amendment rights.”
H.R. 38 passed the House of Representatives today. It would allow people with a state-issued concealed carry license or permit to be able to carry their handgun or firearm in other states as long as the individual follows local laws.
