Alternating lane closures to impact U.S. 36 between Danville and Avon

HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces alternating lane closures that will impact U.S. 36 (Rockville Road) between Danville and Avon.

Beginning on or after Friday, October 23, U.S. 36 will be down to one lane at a time between County Road 200 E. and C.R. 300 E. and between C.R. 525 E. and Avon Avenue. The purpose of the lane closures is to replace pipes and make joint repairs to the roadway.

Construction is anticipated to last up to one month between C.R. 200 E. and C.R. 300 E. and until December between C.R. 525 E. and Avon Ave. All construction is weather-dependent and subject to change.

INDOT encourages drivers to use caution and avoid distrations in and around work zones.
