Hendricks County Sheriff’s Deputies Investigate Fatal Weekend Crash in Coatesville

Coatesville – On March 2, 2025, at approximately 2pm, Hendricks County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on SR 75, near the intersection of Vontress St, in Coatesville. 

Preliminary investigation indicates that a maroon GMC Envoy was traveling southbound on SR 75 when, for a yet undetermined reason, it crossed into the northbound lanes of SR 75 and struck a blue Ford F-150, which was traveling northbound on SR 75, head on.  The driver and sole occupant of the GMC Envoy was transported to Eskenazi Hospital where she was pronounced dead.  Her identity is being withheld at this time pending appropriate notifications.  The driver of the Ford pickup truck was also transported to Eskenazi Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It is unknown at this time if drugs and alcohol were a factor in this collision.

SR 75 was completely closed for approximately 4 hours while deputies and crash reconstruction specialists conducted the investigation.
