US 40 Lane Restrictions from Stilesville to Plainfield to Begin the first of April

INDOTHENDRICKS AND PUTNAM COUNTIES, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announce U.S. 40 lanes will be restricted in the area the contractor will be working beginning on or after Friday, April 1.  The contractor will be working on U.S. 40 between State Road 75 in Stilesville to Vestal Road in Plainfield.  The contractor will begin construction of the new curb ramps to be ADA-compliant, followed by patching and resurfacing the roadway.

E&B Paving, Inc. was awarded this resurfacing project on U.S. 40 for $6.1 million.  The project is scheduled for completion on August 30, 2016.

INDOT reminds motorists to follow the posted work zone speed limit, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a construction zone.
