Hendricks County, along with other counties in Indiana, have been given a one-time allocation increase in the Moderna vaccine as part of a statewide initiative to get as many Hoosiers vaccinated as possible. The clinic will offer the Moderna vaccine in a series of two appointments, with the second appointment being on Saturday, May 22nd. This opportunity is available to all individuals that are 18 and older, have not had COVID-19 in the last 14 days, and are not currently exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms.
The Hendricks County Health Department would like to encourage all able residents of Hendricks County to take advantage of this opportunity and get vaccinated. The vaccines have been proven to be safe and effective, and are a great step forward towards protecting ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities.
All interested persons may register for an appointment by visiting ourshot.in.gov, and selecting White Lick Elementary Mass MVAX as the registration site. When selecting a date for the appointment, select Saturday, April 17th. Additionally, registration may be done by calling 2-1-1, or by calling any of the local Hendricks County Libraries. For any questions about the mass vaccination clinic or vaccine related questions, please contact us at (317) 718-6018.
