Work begins in Clayton in early May on Sidewalks

HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a project to construct American with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant curb ramps on the sidewalks through the town of Clayton begins on or after Monday, May 4.  There will be lane restrictions on State Road 39 in the area the contractor will be working.  This work is scheduled to be completed by the end of July.

White Construction Co. was awarded the $377,961 contract. INDOT encourages drivers to allow extra time when driving through this area. Drivers should slow down, exercise caution and drive distraction-free through all work zones.
