Plainfield man identified as accident victim involving submerged vehicle

PLAINFIELD- At approximately 9:00 A.M. Sunday morning emergency crews were called and responded to a report by a passerby of tire tracks going into a pond at the intersection on Newberry Road and Fieldstone Lane in Plainfield.

The Plainfield Police and the Plainfield Fire Territory responded and located what they believed to be a vehicle in the pond. The Danville Fire Department dive team was requested and responded to the scene to conduct a more thorough search. A truck was located and pulled from the retention pond.

There was one confirmed deceased adult male victim that was located in the vehicle. The deceased adult male has been identified as 45 year-old Bryan Holder of Plainfield IN. The Hendricks County Coroner will determine the exact manner and cause of death.
