Methamphetamine and Paraphernalia Discovered During Traffic Stop

Vigo County – At approximately 11:30 p.m., on October 9, 2019, Trooper Gerald Stump was patrolling near US 41 at Poplar Street, when he stopped the driver of a Mitsubishi passenger vehicle.  The driver was identified as Stacey L. Dooley-Figg, 48, of Terre Haute.  A driver’s license check revealed Dooley-Figg had a suspended driver’s license.  During a consent search, Trooper Stump located drug paraphernalia and 4 grams of methamphetamine.  Dooley-Figg was taken into custody and transported to the Vigo County Jail.

Arrested and Charges:  Stacey L. Dooley-Figg, 48, Terre Haute, IN

  • Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 6 Felony
  • Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Level 6 Felony
  • Possession of Paraphernalia, Class A Misdemeanor
  • Driving While Suspended (Prior), Class A Misdemeanor  

Assisting Officer:  David Petrowski, Indiana State Police 

All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law
