Donations of peanut butter can lead to fair tickets during local food drive

The Hendricks County Extension Homemakers are partnering with the Hendricks County Food Pantry Coalition and the Hendricks County 4-H and AG fair association in holding a peanut butter donation drive for the Hendricks County food pantries.

The peanut butter collection will help 14,920 of our neighbors in Hendricks County that are food insecure.

Those that donate 4 jars of Peanut Butter (16 ounces or larger) will receive two Hendricks County Fair tickets (4 per family) or one State Fair ticket (2 per family). There is a limit of 100 state fair tickets to be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

Peanut butter donations will be accepted at the Hendricks County fair office located in the south hallway of the Conference Center; 1900 E. Main Street, Danville, IN 46122.

Collections will be accepted Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Please have a generous heart and help with this project to fill the pantries.
