State Police Seeking Public’s Help Identifying Hit-and-Run Suspect from a Crash on I-465 Wednesday Morning

Indianapolis, IN – Wednesday morning around 7:30 emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash on I-465 southbound near I-70 on the city’s east side. Preliminary 911 calls reported a female pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, emergency responders found 23 year old Andrea Guzman of Noblesville injured, but in stable condition. She was transported to Eskenazi Hospital by medics from the Indianapolis Fire Department.

Investigators believe Guzman’s vehicle became disabled on the interstate and she was struck while outside of her car.

After tending to the victim, troopers received information the vehicle who struck the victim had originally stopped at the scene, but then left. The dark colored vehicle should have front end damage. The Indiana State Police are asking anyone who witnessed this crash, the aftermath of the crash or may have dash cam footage of the area around 7:30 a.m. please call 317-899-8577.
