INDIANAPOLIS – INDOT plans to reduce lanes on I-65 on the city’s south side to repair damaged bridge pavement and barriers over I-465 between mile markers 106 and 105, weather permitting. This project is not related to the I-65 bridge rehab project on the northwest side of Indianapolis and downtown.
Traffic will be down to one lane on I-65 southbound and down to two lanes on the northbound side.
Crews anticipate beginning lane restrictions on Friday, June 1 at 9 p.m. and finishing the project by Monday, June 4 at 6 a.m.
INDOT wants to remind drivers to slow down and pay attention to crews in the work zone.
