INDIANAPOLIS – On Sunday July 9th 2017 at around 5:15 a.m. IMPD Officers were dispatched to 617 N Luett Ave. on a report of a person shot. Paramedics were on the scene but were unable to sustain the life of 53-year-old Jerry Eldrige who was pronounced deceased a short time after Officers arrived.
IMPD Homicide Detectives worked hand in hand with other IMPD Investigative Units during the course of this investigation. Indianapolis-Marion County Crime Lab along with The crime lab from Indiana State Police processed evidence for over nine months.
Because of the hard work from everyone involved within these agencies enough probable cause was established to charge 52-year-old Vickie Harper with Murder.
