MARION AND HENDRICKS CO., Ind. – Contractors for the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) plan nightly, alternating lane closures for pavement and soil sampling along Interstate 70 eastbound and westbound between State Road 267 exit 66 in Hendricks County and the I-65 South Split in Indianapolis.
Weather permitting, the lane closures will repeat nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Thursday, Jan. 25 for the next couple of weeks.
Drivers should pay attention to advanced warning signs, slow down, avoid distractions, and drive sensibly near work zones.
