Town of Brownsburg Honors Employees of the Year

Town employees gathered in January 2025 to recognize the honorees of the 2024 Employee Awards. Employees nominated their outstanding coworkers in two categories for the annual awards program.

The annual awards program recognized outstanding employees in the following categories:

Lindsay Baranyi

Rookie of the Year
Lindsay Baranyi, Executive Assistant – Town Hall
Lindsay is an invaluable asset to the Town of Brownsburg, exhibiting a fantastic disposition when assisting the public and supporting all departments and staff. Her eagerness to help has made her a key first point of contact for Town Hall customers, where she consistently presents a positive and welcoming attitude. She has actively participated in numerous Town events and has taken the initiative to familiarize herself with all the departments within the Town.

Her professionalism and competence are evident, and she has quickly adapted to her role. Lindsay creates a great first impression for visitors and takes the time to connect with her colleagues, always greeting them warmly. She is learning to manage council meetings, further showcasing her commitment to growth and teamwork.

Cody Worland

Ignitor of the Year
Cody Worland, Field Supervisor – Street Department
Cody has been with the Town for six years and consistently goes above and beyond to support other departments, always stepping in whenever needed. He has volunteered his time to assist with numerous Town events, including parades, ensuring everything runs smoothly while keeping the team informed throughout the process. His positive attitude, approachability, and responsiveness to residents’ concerns make him stand out as a great coworker and an outstanding representative of the Town of Brownsburg.

Additionally, Cody’s dedication to making the Town look its best, along with his patient and encouraging demeanor, contribute significantly to the smooth operation of the Street Department.
