Stolen Credit Card Information Found during Tractor-Trailer Stop in Putnam County

Putnam County—On Monday afternoon, April 30th, at 12:45, an Indiana State Police trooper from the Drug Enforcement Section, stopped a Freightliner tractor pulling a box trailer for an equipment violation eastbound Interstate 70 near the 41 mile marker.

During the stop, information developed that led to a search of the tractor. The search yielded (27) white plastic cards, each containing stolen credit card information.

The driver, 32-year-old Vage Gabriyelyan of Glendale, California, was incarcerated in the Putnam County Jail on felony charges of both Counterfeiting and Fraud.

The tractor-trailer was transporting medical supplies from California to New Jersey.

Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
