Project will resurface I-74 and overlay several Bridges

HENDRICKS, BOONE AND MONTGOMERY COUNTIES, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a construction project on I-74 will begin on or after Monday, April 2 spanning three counties.  This project will resurface I-74 from approximately five miles east of State Road 32 or the 44 mile marker to just east of the Lizton Exit 58 and overlay six bridges.

I-74 will be restricted to one 11’ lane in each direction. This restriction is scheduled to last through the end of October.

This project was awarded to Rieth-Riley Construction for $11.2 million.

INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
