INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces single-lane closures on U.S. 36 (Rockville Road) on the west side of Indianapolis.
Beginning on or after Monday, July 21, crews will close individual lanes between Bridgeport Road and Country Club Road for utility relocations as a part of the continued work on the Modern Rockville Road project. Work along this stretch of roadway is anticipated to last until late August but is weather-dependent and subject to change.
INDOT encourages drivers to use caution while traveling in and around work zones, and to avoid distracted driving.
