IMPD is looking for a suspect in connection with a 2015 shooting that killed a man on the city’s near north side

INDIANAPOLIS – Detectives need your help finding 29-year-old Robert Lasley of Indianapolis.  The suspect is accused of shooting and killing 30-year-old Michael Killebrew on December 1, 2015, in the 1000 W. 29th St.

On February 1, 2016, detectives obtained a warrant charging the suspect (Robert Lasley) with Murder, Attempted Murder, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon.

Detectives allege that on December 1, 2015, at about 7:00 a.m., the suspect shot and injured the victim outside his residence.  The victim was transported Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.  On January 16, 2016, IMPD was contacted by the Marion County Coroner’s Office and informed that the victim had died at Community North Hospital while still receiving treatment from injuries sustained from the December 2015 shooting.
