INDIANAPOLIS – Detectives are investigating after officers find two males shot to death on the city’s east side.
On Friday, July 8, 2016, officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the 900 block of North Oxford Street reference a suspicious person.
When officers arrived, they discovered that two males had been shot. Both men were pronounced deceased at the scene. Detectives have not yet released any identities of who the men are. Once positive identification is made and next-of-kin have been notified this release will be updated with their identifiers.
Detectives canvassed the area for information and potential witnesses. The Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency processed the crime scene for evidence. A cause and manner of death will be determined by the Marion County Coroner’s Office after and an autopsy has been performed.
