Avon Town Hall Park
July 3rd from 6 to 10 PM
On July 3rd enjoy fireworks, food trucks, a petting zoo, vendors, live music, and more at the Avon Town Hall Park.
Parking and Shuttle Information
Avon Town Hall is handicap and vendor parking ONLY.
Public parking is available at Avon United Methodist Church, Avon Parkside Church of the Nazarene, Avon Intermediate School East, and Avon Intermediate School West. Shuttles are available from both intermediate schools to a drop off/pick up location at the Avon United Methodist Church.
Brownsburg Lions Club July 4th Extravaganza

Arbuckle Acres Park
Nightly from 6 to 11 pm starting Saturday, June 29 until July 4, enjoy carnival rides, food and games at Arbuckle Acres Park.
Brownsburg Lions Club Parade
The parade will happen July 4 at 10am starting at E. Tilden Dr. at the S. Odell St. intersection and will travel west to Green Street. The parade turns north on Green Street and ends at Enderly Avenue.
Activities at the Town Hall Green
Town Hall Green
On July 4th, starting at 7:30 pm enjoy live music from the Cool City Band, yard games, food trucks and more at the Town Hall Green.
Fireworks
The Brownsburg fireworks show will start at 10 p.m. Viewing areas are available in downtown Brownsburg, Town Hall Green, and inside Eaton Hall (61 N. Green Street) for a sensory-friendly environment and space will be limited.
Hummel Park 4th of July Festival
Hummel Park
Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza will take place on July 4, at Hummel Park. Starting at 5pm, enjoy food trucks and vendors, free bounce houses, playgrounds and the splash pad. Then at 7:30pm enjoy the live entertainment of Big Rosco and the Hammers at the Hummel Park Performing Arts Center. It is encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnics. Fireworks, portable grills, and alcohol are not allowed in Hummel Park. The fireworks display, sponsored by Guilford Township and the Town of Plainfield, will begin promptly at 9:55 p.m.
Parking Information
The east entrance at 1500 S. Center St. will close at 7:00 p.m.
The west entrance at 5373 S. County Road 700 East (Sugar Grove Road) will close at 9:00 p.m.
County Road 700 East (Sugar Grove Road) will close at 9:30 p.m. between Vestal Road and Hadley Road.
Other Viewing Information
Anderson Park and Friendship Gardens Park will close to the public at 6:00 p.m.
Swinford Park will allow parking for fireworks. Traffic from Center Street will be closed at approximately 10:00 p.m. Traffic control will guide patrons from Longfellow to Stafford Road when exiting.
The Al and Jan Barker Sports Complex will allow parking for fireworks. Traffic from Center Street and 700 East will close at approximately 10:00 p.m. Traffic control will guide patrons to US 40 when exiting.
Exiting Traffic Information
The Plainfield Police Department has developed a comprehensive plan and map to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow on July 4th.
Vehicles exiting Hummel Park from the northern exit on the east side will be directed northbound on Center St.
Vehicles exiting from the south access road on the east side will be directed southbound on Center St.
Vehicles exiting from the west side will be directed southbound on Sugar Grove Rd. Northbound will not be an option.
No westbound traffic to Center St will be allowed on Stafford Rd, Longfellow Ln, Stanley Rd, Springcrest, or Reeves Rd.
Food Trucks and Fireworks
Hendricks County Fairgrounds
Head out to the Hendricks County Fairgrounds for food trucks beginning at 6pm and a firework show to conclude the event.
Pittsboro Freedom Celebration
Pittsboro will have a July 4th celebration event that features a parade, live entertainment and family fun events at Scamahorn Park will start directly after the parade with fireworks at 10pm to conclude the event.
