Hendricks County Boasts a Summer Full of Live Music

Outdoor Concerts

Make this summer a Millon Dollar Summer by enjoying one of these outdoor summer concerts taking place this summer throughout Hendricks County. Currently, these are the current summer concerts slated for Hendricks County. Please note these concerts can be canceled or postponed due to weather conditions and to verify concert details with the event organizers’ social media or website.

Murphy Aquatic Park Summer Concert Series

Murphy Aquatic Park is hosting its third annual FREE Summer Concert Series! For these concerts, admission to the aquatic park is free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the Compass Café. Gates open an hour before the start of the concerts and it is encouraged to arrive early because seating is limited and guests can bring their own chairs as well.

LIVE at the Amphitheater

Enjoy some live music at the Washington Township Park Amphitheater. On July 18 the free concert will be a part of the family fun zone and food truck festival as part of the LIVE at the Amphitheater. Bring your chair or blankets to listen to the live music from the Elizabeth Lee Band and enjoy this family fun event.

Rock the Park Music Festival

On August 2, there will be a 21 and up music festival at the Avon Town Hall Park. Musical acts will include Cosmic Situation, Attaboy, and Night Owl Country Band. The music festival will also include a beer garden, food trucks, a foam play pit, grown-up bounce houses, photo ops and more. Tickets are now on sale, and they are available at avonindiana.gov/events.

Summer Soundtracks

This summer, enjoy Brownsburg’s free concert series, “Summer Soundtracks” with 2 shows this May and August at Arbuckle Acres Park. The park offers plenty of room to set up chairs and blankets for lawn seating. Children can enjoy the playground and lawn games. Food trucks and local vendors will have food and drinks available for purchase, and a beer and wine garden for adults 21 and older.

Music at the Market

This summer enjoy 3 free concerts at the Brownsburg Farmer’s Market.  Music at the Market will feature 3 concerts on June 26, July 31 and August 28 at the Brownsburg Town Hall Green. The concerts will take place during the Farmer’s Market from 4 to 7pm and will also feature a beer and wine garden.

July 4 Concert

On July 4th, enjoy live music from the Cool City Band beginning at 7:30pm at the Town Hall Green. There will also be food trucks and yard games with fireworks schedule to start at 10pm.

Blues in the ‘Burg

The 8th annual Blues in the Burg will take place on September 6 from 4 to 9pm at Arbuckle Acres Park. This outdoor music festival will feature the musical acts of Lauren Anderson, John N’emeth, King Bee and the Stingers, Shaun Booker Band and the headliner Shemekia Copeland a Grammy- Nominated blues, soul and Americana artist.

The Town of Clayton’s Music in the Park will be taking place on June 28th and August 30th at Lambert Park. Music in the Park will feature food trucks, live music and a bounce house for kids!

The town of Danville’s 2025 concert series has an exciting lineup planned for the 2025 season. Evenings in Danville concerts will be held from 7 to 10pm throughout the summer at Ellis Park and at the historic downtown Danville square.

Summer PorchFest Danville: An Arts & Music Odyssey

The first-ever Summer PorchFest in Danville will take place on Saturday, August 9th from noon to 5pm. This will be a free community event transforming downtown Danville and nearby neighborhoods into a live music destination, where front porches, storefronts, and alleyways will convert into musical stages showcasing talented local musicians.

Hummel Park Summer Concert Series

Guilford Township will be putting on a free summer concert series at Hummel Park. These concerts will be taking place on specific Saturdays from 7 to 9:30pm and there will be a special Fourth of July concert with the 38th Infantry Division Concert Band. All seating will be on the lawn in front of the Hummel Park Performing Arts Center amphitheater. Lawn chairs and coolers are welcome; however, no smoking or alcohol is allowed.

Plainfield Sky Dance

The first-ever drone show in Plainfield is coming to Hummel Park on Saturday, September 20th.  The Sky Dance Drone Shoe featuring a U2 Tribute concert will bring a one-of-a-kind show to celebrate the town of Plainfield as well as the decades spanning music of U2.  The event promises a night full of great music, fun, high-energy and a drone light show you must see to believe.  It’s a night for all ages so grab your lawn chair or blanket and bring the family and friends for a first of its kind experience at Hummel Park.

Fun begins at 7pm on Saturday, September 20 at Hummel Park Performing Arts Center. This is part of Quaker Day Weekend! Admission: FREE

Pittsboro

Pittsboro Freedom Celebration

As part of Pittsboro’s Freedom Celebration enjoy live music from Juston & Co. from 5 to 7pm and Groovetown from 7:30 to 10pm at Scamahorn Park.
