Hendricks Civic Theatre presents “Alice in Wonderland Jr.” – February 28th through March 2nd & March 7th through March 9th

The young performers of Hendricks Civic Theatre are excited to invite audiences to Hendricks Live! for their production of Alice in Wonderland Jr. that will run February 28 through March 2 and the following weekend of March 7 through March 9. This talented cast includes 59 area youth aged from 5 to 18 and 4 young backstage crew members. These kids are from very diverse backgrounds and levels of experience where for some this is their first show and others are seasoned vets with being a part of over 10 shows.  Alice in Wonderland JR also has 30 adult volunteers who are assisting with the production.

For over 40 years Hendricks Civic Theatre has been promoting the creativity of the Hendricks County community as the only community theatre currently performing in Hendricks County.

Originally, the Hendricks Civic Theatre started as the Hendricks County Community Theatre, until they were incorporated and rebranded as HCT in 1989. Since then, HCT has performed plays and musicals every year around Hendricks County. Currently, the Hendricks Civic Theatre brings their shows to life in the amazing venues of the new state-of-the-art Hendricks Live! theater in Plainfield and the HCT Longstreet Playhouse, which was the former Maplewood Christian Church that was gifted and renovated for HCT.

“Hendricks Live! is a premier partner of HCT, and this partnership has added so much aesthetic value for a humble community theatre like HCT.

Our directors, actors, and production crews are always in awe when they play on that stage for the first time,” says Nathaniel of Hendricks Civic Theatre.

Hendricks Civic Theatre is supporting the arts in Hendricks County, and Hendricks County can support HCT through volunteering and donor support.

Whether it’s assistance with the shows or to support the renovation of the HCT homebase of Longstreet Playhouse, volunteers play an integral part of Hendricks Civic Theatre. HCT is also a 501 (C) 3 Not-For-Profit organization that accepts donations and also raises funding through Patron Memberships and sponsorship opportunities.

Whether in the audience, on the stage, or behind the scenes, everyone can Play A Role!

The remainder of the HCT 2024-2025 season includes:
