Brownsburg Rotary Honors Town Employee of the Year

Aaron Starr with Brownsburg Town Manager Grant Kleinhenz

BROWNSBURG – Fleet Maintenance Supervisor Aaron Starr has been named the Town of Brownsburg’s Employee of the Year. Starr was honored by the community and his co-workers at an awards luncheon hosted annually by the Brownsburg Rotary Club.

Employee of the year candidates are nominated by their peers. Starr’s nomination said that he is meticulous about his work and truly cares about the finished product. He is always researching better processes and products to enhance the work done by the Fleet Maintenance Department.

An 18-year employee, Starr mentors his fellow team members, making sure they have all the tools and resources they need and working side-by-side with them to help figure out best solutions to problems.

Brownsburg Town Manager Grant Kleinhenz said, “Aaron is a committed employee, who truly cares about his work. Due to his expertise and leadership he has worked his way up to supervisor, and he continues to invest in professional development. We appreciate the Brownsburg Rotary for recognizing outstanding Town employees like him.”
