Hendricks County Women’s Giving Circle Grant Applications Open

Nonprofits serving women and children in Hendricks County are invited to apply for funding from the Hendricks County Women’s Giving Circle, a new women’s philanthropy group and program of the Hendricks County Community Foundation (HCCF). This group provides financial support for local nonprofit organizations while encouraging philanthropy and community engagement among women in Hendricks County.

The Hendricks County Women’s Giving Circle launched in January 2025 with 174 founding members. Each member donates annually to support the nonprofits selected through a grant application process, administered through the Community Foundation.

The members of the Giving Circle will review submitted grant applications to determine the top scoring nonprofits, which will present at the Circle’s quarterly meetings. Members in attendance will vote to determine grant awards to the presenting nonprofits.

Frances Mock, HCCF’s Director of Community Relations and Giving Circle Steering Committee Chair commented, “We are incredibly excited about launching the first ever Women’s Giving Circle in Hendricks County. Our county is full of generous women who want to give back in tangible and meaningful ways, and this group will make a way for them to do just that. There is a dynamic synergy when passionate likeminded women gather together for a common cause, and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish. Our Giving Circle motto is ‘Together We Can Do More,’ and I am confident that together we will!” To learn more about the Women’s Giving Circle and apply for a grant, visit the HCCF website at www.hendrickscountycf.org. The deadline for nonprofits to apply for a grant from this program is Wednesday, March 12 at 3 pm. If you have any questions, please contact HCCF Vice President of Programs Eric Hessel at eric@hendrickscountycf.org or 317.268.6240.
