(Grant County, IN)-The Indiana State Police is investigating a single vehicle crash which occurred on County Road 200 S at the intersection with State Road 13 and claimed the life of a 23 year old man from Kokomo.

According to Trooper Jeremy Perez, this morning at approximately 12:00 a.m., a 2003 Ford Taurus driven by James M. Puett was traveling westbound on 200 S at an extremely high rate of speed, according to at least one witness.  As the vehicle entered the intersection with State Road 13, and disregarded a stop sign in the process, it went airborne before losing control.
